[interviews]   Le Scrawl
le scrawl, originally "scrawl", was founded in 1990 by peter (drums) and mario (vocals/guitar/bass) in Potsdam, Germany. started by playing typical grindcore, they once tried to mix it with many other possible styles and there came something into the world, which became "scrawl". they do not care how one defines it – jazzgrind, grindska or whatever it may be, they combine sounds, leave typical grind vocals and never put out a track longer as --minute twenty three seconds-- (and this only on the last album – the absolute record of duration). they release the albums when they have something to release, and do not play "big business games". they do not have great ambitious plans for the band, they just enjoy it as it is and let it flow without straining every nerve to get something out of it....

.general
We are launching //web.zine with the aim to reveal weird and awesome music and share it with anyone who would appreciate our effort.
Music which we search for to bring into the light is not classified, free of limits and cliches, vital sounds of creation and boundless imagination.
   Music of contradictions and challenge.
Extreme grind sounds in free-jazz vein; progressive and avant-garde metal, minimalist noise and ambient landscapes with experimental approach; clear tunes of conciliation in intelligent way.
Or just mix all these definitions any way you like, so you will get exactly what we are looking for.
At present we would like to discover and keep in touch with musicians, bands and labels - collect and store here information about their activities, album reviews and interviews.
This web.zine is authentically Belarussian but all the information should be in English and Russian so it will be also available for public in former USSR counties.
And - if you liked our start - please contact us and let us know about you, your band or label, send your records in any formats (cd, mc, vinyl or mp3) for review and promoting.
We are looking forward to anything that's new and strange and awaiting for the people who need to share their creativity with others.
